Recently Le Shag featured the art work of Steven Strauss, the owner and creative director of Spring Atelier in Peekskill NY.
Spring Atelier and Le Shag share common themes when it comes the combination of hair and art. Both submerged in the art world in the form of photo shoots, hair shows and using the salon space as an art gallery.
Kara Eletto, Master Stylist at Le Shag and Art Director, curates shows every 3 months. Noticing Steven’s art work online, she found herself connected to it from her own experiences. We had a chance to speak to both of them and watch here to see how his show “The Aviary” took flight.
